Our Mission

The Gratiot County Fair for Youth provides the youth of Mid-Michigan an opportunity to showcase their accomplishments in agriculture, home economics, arts and crafts, and various other areas.  The fair will provide this opportunity to youth from all walks of life through educational projects and programs.  The fair will continue to be an event that provides social and educational interaction for people of all ages interested in our community.

What we do

Plan, organize, fund, implement and evaluate a community based youth fair in collaboration with the Gratiot County 4-H Program and our local FFA Chapters.

Provide a quality venue in Gratiot County for livestock and horse shows, 4-H meetings and programs, community events, camper rallies, and community events.

Maintain and develop grounds entrusted to us by Gratiot County to provide safe and exceptional exhibition areas and facilities.

Ensure quality infrastructure on our grounds.

Our funding equation

The fair creates a budget incorporating revenue generated through program income, philanthropic giving, grants, and fundraisers to provide a quality fair, maintain and grow our facilities, pay staff, cover fees, insurance, utilities and supplies.
